In regular contributions on Hong Kong dance to local and international publications, teaching and mentoring of aspiring dance critics, encouragement of, and support for up-and-coming performers and choreographers, Natasha Rogai is an exemplar whose keen observations and astute views enable us to expand our understanding and appreciation of dance, the most ephemeral of the arts.
Natasha Rogai is a writer specializing in dance who grew up in London in a Russian émigré family of dancers and dance experts. She worked in Paris for many years and has lived in Hong Kong since 1997. She has been the dance critic for the South China Morning Post and the Hong Kong correspondent for the respected international monthly dance magazine Dancing Times since 2005.
