The Company’s dancing resonates with the conviction and heft of truth, rendering each gesture, each movement inevitable yet with the spontaneity of a story unfolding for the very first time.” 城市當代舞蹈團 自1979年創團以來，城市當代舞蹈團製作了超過200部原創作品，參與藝術家包括舞團創辦人及藝術總監曹誠淵，以及其他舞壇編舞大師如黎海寧、梅卓燕、潘兆輝、伍宇烈等。多年來，城市當代舞蹈團培育了多個香港編舞英才，也經常與其他媒介藝術家合作，致力推廣多元化的香港文化特色及創意。舞團大部份舞者均是受訓於香港演藝學院的香港舞者。

City Contemporary Dance Company Founded in 1979, CCDC has presented over 200 original works including productions by Founder and Artistic Director, Willy Tsao and other leading local choreographers, such as Helen Lai, Mui Cheuk-yin, Pun Siu-fai, and Yuri Ng. CCDC has played a major role in nurturing new Hong Kong choreographic talent and presented innovative collaborations with outstanding artists from other media and around the world. CCDC is renowned for reflecting the vigor and creativity of Hong Kong’s vibrant, multifaceted contemporary culture. Most of the company dancers are from Hong Kong and were trained at HKAPA.
