[中][Eng] 「傑出佈景設計」得主：曾文通《倩女．幽魂》OUTSTANDING SET DESIGN FOR DANCE TO TSANG MAN-TUNG FOR L'AMOUR IMM

“不論是地獄入口還是情人相遇的房間，曾文通透過流暢的過場設計，以讓人沉醉投入其中的佈景，充份展示不同地點和營造出富張力的氣氛。從美學的角度而言，其原創設計的極簡風格異常優雅，在舞台上方懸掛著的木簾更是在台上投射出各種圖案的光影，突顯出曾文通的華麗舞台想像。

Tsang Man-tung’s mesmerizing set transitions smoothly to evoke locations and moods, from the mouth of hell to the room where the lovers meet. Aesthetically his minimalist concept is original and supremely elegant, its focal point the superbly imagined slatted wooden screen which hangs in a curve overhead, creating patterns of light and shadow on the stage.”

曾文通 曾文通畢業於香港演藝學院，並於2010年獲得亞洲文化協會資助，前往美國耶魯大學戲劇學院深造。他曾獲得香港舞台劇獎「最佳舞台設計」、「最佳服裝設計」和「最佳化妝造型獎」、香港藝術發展獎「藝術新進獎」（2003）及「年度最佳藝術家獎」（2007/08）等。2015年獲民政事務局局長嘉許計劃頒發嘉許狀及獎章。他亦為磬缽演奏者。

Tsang Man-tung Tsang Man-tung is a graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and, funded by an Asian Cultural Council fellowship grant, a special research fellow at Yale School of Drama. He has received the Hong Kong Drama Award for Best Set Design, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup and Costume Design, as well as the Rising Artist Award (2003), and Best Artist Award (2007/08) at the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards. In 2015, Tsang was one of the awardees of the Secretary for Home Affairs’ Commendation Scheme. He is also a musician devoted to the sacred Himalayan singing bowls.
