文:陳抒 前些日子,荷里活男星Timothée Chalamet出言戲謔,稱芭蕾與歌劇皆是「將死的藝術形式」(dying art forms)。此言雖引來一片反彈,卻也帶出了一個尷尬現狀:觀眾群日漸凋零,各大機構仰賴公帑維繫,而關於芭蕾舞是否走向衰亡的爭議,竟比對藝術本身的討論引來了更多迴響。芭蕾舞若要保有生命力,必須直面一個命題:如何走向當代,如何承載此刻社會的悸動、焦慮與多元的身分認同?正因如此,香港芭蕾舞團新舞季的開幕演出來得恰是時候,這場演出清楚說明了一件事:芭蕾未死,其動作語言有強大的潛力,舞出搖滾的叛逆與情歌的失落,結結實實震撼觀眾。 「華麗搖滾」 (Glam Rock)由三個獨立的單元(Martlet, Strange Love, Mercury Half-Life )組成,編舞靈感來自三支搖滾勁旅,分別是 Beyond, Depeche Mode, Queen。三個舞段風格各異,以藝術完整度而言,《Strange Love》最為突出,前後兩場各有可圈可點之處。 Andonis Foniadakis的《Strange Love》
