夜,伴隨著黑暗,總帶一點神秘氣氛,同時也可以是個安靜,又或者營造出一個容讓放縱、可以自我宣洩的空間。李咏靜的首個長編舞作《嗜夜者》,就嘗試以喜歡夜晚或處於黑暗環境的人為題,利用空間、光影與舞蹈,將對黑夜的不同情感跟想像,在牛池灣文娛中心的文娛廳內拼湊呈現出來。

或者這個作品名稱沒辦法找到對應的中文翻譯,因為中文沒有一個詞可以像「Play」一樣有着這麼廣泛的涵意︰遊戲、玩樂、音樂、表演、作品、創作、互動,甚至僅僅代表播放或輸出。
是次演出也如此,以Play為名展示了不同的含意,例如甫開場明明這是「舞蹈」演出,卻有一列樂器橫在舞台上,令劇
