此書以歷史學家的客觀性及詩人的感性撰寫，闡述了香港的舞蹈歷史及發展，透過歷史角度、文化及美學層面闡釋多位本地重要舞蹈藝術家及其作品。

Dr. Lo’s second book on dance focuses on the history of dance development in Hong Kong and on a cogent elucidation of major artists and their work from historical, cultural, and aesthetic perspectives, written with the objectivity of an historian and the sensitivity of a poet.

盧偉力《尋找香港舞蹈》

盧偉力是一名電影教育工作者、戲劇人、藝評人兼詩人，現任香港浸會大學電影學院副教授及電影電視與數碼媒體（製作）藝術碩士課程主任，以及香港藝術發展局藝術評論藝術組別主席，致力於劇本創作、電影及劇場美學及舞台製作等工作。曾出版兩本舞蹈評論及相關理論的書藉。《尋》是盧偉力的第二本著作，結集了他在2007年至2014年期間有關現代舞的舞評文章，評論超過十位主要舞蹈藝術家的作品，其中包括黎海寧及梅卓燕。

Lo Wai-luk for 《尋找香港舞蹈》 (In Search of Hong Kong Dance)

Lo Wai-luk is a film educator, theatre worker, art critic, and poet. He is currently an Associate Professor and Director of MFA (Film, TV, and Digital Media) of the Academy of Film, Hong Kong Baptist University and is the elected representative for the Arts Criticism sector on the Arts Development Council. His specialties are script-writing, film and theatre aesthetics, and stage productions. He has published two books of dance criticism and theory. 《尋找香港舞蹈》(In Search of Hong Kong Dance) is the second book. A collection of Lo’s dance writing from 2007 to 2014, it focuses on Modern Dance, touching on more than ten major artists, including Helen Lai and Mui Cheuk-yin.
